Storage in high temperature and humidity may cause the base to crack or deform.
Sticky tree tar may appear from the base. It can be removed by wiping it off with alcohol.
The tag is made of genuine leather and therefore may stretch or shrink a little. Also wetting with water or sweat may cause color fading or stains.

A Round Shape Cute Pincushion that Makes the Most of the Materials
Story
This charming pincushion is characterized by a compact, round shape, inspired by a nut in the forest. Craftsmen at Nakauchi, a button manufacturer established in 1914 in Nara, carve the wooden base by hand with great skill. The fragrant wood is sourced from Hinoki cypress from the Kii Mountains south of Osaka.

The fabric of the pincushion is a Banshu textiles, produced in the northern Harima region of Hyogo Prefecture. Banshu weaves are distinguished by their natural texture, rich colors, and smoothness to the touch. Pincushion utilizes sample fabrics created during fabric development. We upcycle the materials that would not normally be used and turn them into new products.
For this reason, there are individual differences in the texture of pincushion fabrics. The product you hold in your hand is unique in both fabric and wood grain.

Pins slide easily into the Cypress Pincushion and its stuffing is rust-resistant.
