Tatami-beri, the specialized edge trim historically used to bind and protect traditional Japanese tatami mats, is reimagined here as a heavyweight jacquard trim that holds its shape and finishes clean. Woven in Kojima, Kurashiki—a Japanese city globally renowned for premium textile manufacturing—this stiff fabric trim combines polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyester for remarkable durability and natural support that often eliminates the need for heavy interfacing.

This authentic Japanese heritage trim is produced in Okayama Prefecture and made entirely in Japan. Due to the nature of traditional manufacturing, pattern and color may vary slightly between production lots.
